Welcome back!Hi, Joy James students! I'm greeting you from my kitchen right now. See the awesome wallpaper in the background? LOL
I know when I last saw each of you, no one expected that we'd all have to stay home for awhile. I also know that we may be worried, stressed, or even scared over all the changes happening right now. Know that I miss each of you, I am here for you, and we are all in this together although you may feel alone. So please reach out to me or your classroom teacher if you need anything, or just need to talk! We are all going on this adventure together, while we learn how to do school from our homes. If you check this page often, I will be adding links, videos, and fun activities you can do or watch. You can even try them with a sibling or a family member. I look forward to seeing you again once we are allowed to go back to school! We put the US in mUSic! |

- One of our favorite ways to get ready to sing involves making whale sounds! Whale Synth
It's really cool to be able to see sound! Below are a few websites where you can do this:
- Check out Seeing Music and do some singing or vocal warm-ups (like the slide whistle sounds) and see what it looks like! Experiment with the settings on the left to try different looks.
- Chrome Music Lab has lots of musical experiments you can do to learn more about music and sound waves. Try out the Spectrogram to see your singing or voice come to life!
